On September 20, 2025, ZambaMed Multi-Specialty Clinic and Diagnostic Center proudly held its first-ever Medical Mission at San Rafael Ultra, Barangay San Rafael, San Narciso, Zambales.
What started as a simple promise—to bring quality healthcare closer to our community—came to life as more than 200 patients lined up that morning, hopeful and excited to see doctors without the burden of cost or distance.

A Day of Service and Compassion
The mission was led by a strong team of dedicated physicians, including surgeons Dr. Joel Celaje and Dr. Mark Cruz, ENT specialist Dr. Vince Lim, internist Dr. Dan Lacuna, and family physician Dr. Brian Guballa. They were joined by Dr. Karina Trinidad and Dr. Paula Loyola-Lim, anesthesiologists who extended their service as general practitioners for the day.
Together, they provided free consultations to patients—many of them young adults and middle-aged residents—who were able to address their health concerns with specialists they might not otherwise have access to. Medicines were distributed free of charge, and laboratory or diagnostic requests were issued, which patients can later avail of at no cost once ZambaMed officially opens.
Each attendee also received a ZambaMed membership card, distributed for free during the event. These cards, which will be available for only ₱300 per year once the clinic opens, are designed to make healthcare even more accessible for families in San Narciso. In some cases, Dr. Celaje and Dr. Cruz identified patients who would benefit from minor surgical procedures, assuring them that these procedures will also be performed free of charge when the clinic begins full operations.

Patient Voices
The true highlight of the day came from the people themselves.
“Hindi ko akalain na makakapagpatingin ako sa isang espesyalista nang libre. Malaking tulong ito sa amin,” shared a middle-aged fisherman who had long been dealing with persistent throat pain.
One young mother also expressed her gratitude: “Mahirap bumiyahe papunta sa bayan para lang magpatingin. Buti na lang nandito na ang mga doktor. Mas kampante na ako para sa kalusugan ng anak ko.”
For many, the mission was more than just a free check-up—it was a reassurance that quality healthcare is no longer out of reach.
A Community Effort
The success of the mission would not have been possible without the partnership of the local government and the dedication of 26 barangay health workers, led by Ms. Brenda Grado. From registration to taking vital signs, guiding patients, and assisting the doctors, their presence ensured that everything flowed smoothly throughout the day.
The warm reception from the community was humbling. Every smile, every handshake, and every word of thanks reminded us why ZambaMed exists: to serve the people of San Narciso with compassion and care.

Looking Ahead
This medical mission is only the beginning. With the upcoming opening of ZambaMed Multi-Specialty Clinic and Diagnostic Center, residents of San Narciso can look forward to state-of-the-art facilities, a full range of diagnostic services, and compassionate care from trusted doctors.
Our vision is simple: to make quality healthcare accessible, affordable, and community-centered.
To the people of San Narciso—thank you for welcoming us and making our first mission a success. We are honored to serve you, and we can’t wait to open our doors and continue this journey toward better health, together.
